I have just heard about these and they look like a smart idea to use your pension fund to invest in Property. They sound too good to be true...... what have I missed? Has anyone had experience with them? What is recommended?

Hi Solutions,

Yes they are excellent, the bench mark for these type of investments over standard pension funds would be how much funds your have available to invest. Small Self-Administered Pension Funds are aimed at business-owners attracted to the benign tax régime governing pensions and who like to keep a tight rein on investment options and charges.

Plus they are extremely flexible, a wide range of investment options presents itself: Stock-market investments, deposits, tax-exempt unit-funds, property, forestry.

In relation to charges I would recommend you choose a flat fee rather then intial fee and commission charge.
