SQL Server View of table if different Database

I want to create a view in a database which selects data from a table in a different database. The two databases are SQL Server 2000 databases on the same machine in the same SQL Server 2000 instance.

Is it possible, is it straightforward, and how is it done.

Off the top of my head and I have not looked at MS SQL Server in ages it is as simple as SELECT * FROM DATABASENAME.TABLENAME
