Spreadsheet Tool for Investments?

Does anybody know of a basic, user friendly (& preferably free) spreadsheet tool for keeping track of regular investments?
Whereby I just type in the amount of & cost of shares bought on a particular date & automatically calculate overall profit/loss etc.
I know you can construct an Excel spreadsheet to do this but I'm not much use at Excel.

Jump bumping this, I usually keep mine in google finance portfolios, but was wondering if anyone has more professional tool

Your stock broking account does that for you...unless you are 'ghost' trading
