Spotlight Problem

Hi,

One of the spotlights in my kitchen flickered and went out during the week. When I went to change the bulb I discovered the red wire had come out.
Is there any particular way to take the fitting apart so I can get the wire back in?

We'd need to know what kind of fitting it is first, but there should be a way to do that alright.

I've pulled the lip 0.25 inches from the ceiling and there's 2 U shaped parts connecting it to the ceiling. I've tried to manipulate them but am afraid I'll break it all together. I presume these are some sort of springs. Any ideas?
