I am enquiring about what happens when an Irish resident with an Irish licence gets caught for speeding in a UK registered car in Southern Ireland. The car is a shared company car. She has given her name & address but hadn't her licence with her & was told to produce her licence & insurance within 10 days. Also she thinks the speed he gave over was away over what she was doing but didn't question this and was not shown anything on the speed gun. Does she have any right to see the gun or get the reading from it?
