speeding fine, timeframe to be issued?

Morning all,

I probably got caught for speeding over the weekend (damn Ballymount fixed speed camera!) I saw the thing flash, but have heard rumours that it may not be working. Anyway knowing my luck it would have been serviced 10 mns before I drove by!

Anyway, does anyone know if there is a time limit from when you are caught by a fixed camera, to when they notify you by post?
