Speed cameras north of Monasterboice

Are the speed cameras on the M1 north of Manasterboice loaded? Today's shopping trip in Newry may not have been as beneficial as was intended!

Didn't notice. Both were like the old one at The Spa Hotel - rectangular boxes with a camera slot on top of a square pole. Pointed at equidistant lines about 30 metres ahead.

On a related issue, I noticed a new speed detection van parked at a Very sly place inbound on the M!/N1 just after the Coolock junction. As you go up the hill from the tunnel entrance, the speed limit reduces to 60 Km/hour and behind the next wall on the drivers left hand side was the white van on revenue collection duty. It is stunts like this that gives speed detection a bad name. And no, I was under the speed limit at the time. You have been warned.
