Hi , purchased a pair of glasses from opticians recently and they are quite thick and have been thinned down by some process . I noticed that when i look forward the clarity is fine but the further left or right from center that i move my eyes (without moving my head) the lenses get more and more blurred to the point that at the left of the lens closest to the frame it is blurred that i cannot see. For example the further left i move my left eye i looking out my left lens the more blurred the lens gets .

As my Prescription is quite high the glasses are quite thick so i got them thinned out , believe they used Polycarbonate Lenses and reviewing it on the net it seems to be an issue called chromatic abortion .

Just wondering if there is any other way i can thin out my lenses without getting this blurring at the edges.

Regards, Jumper1
