Spec for Self Build in Meath

Hi,

I was hoping someone could assist me. I have recently just got planning permission to build a 2700sq foot house in Co Meath.

We have gone out to builders to get prices but it like comparing apples and oranges with the prices provided.

I got advise from someone that I should get a spec done that can be sent out to all builders for tender and then you can compare like with like with the prices received back.

Does anyone who or could recommed someone who would be able to do up this spec?

I would appericate any assistance with this as I am clueless and really need to get this before we can decide on a builder.

IS it an archtect that is best to do this? on doing research I see reference to Engineers doing this and also quantity surveyors doing this spec so I am not sure which direction to go in..
 
What your looking for is a bill of quantities to br sent to each builder to get priced up. It's a quantity surveyor you'll need to do up this bill of quantities.
