Just need some advice.

Mother of child works 3 days earning 15k, so she has agreed to relinquish the entitlement to the father.

Mother has filled in the SPCC1 form and signed it to hand the credit over.
Father has filled in the SPCC2 form and signed the required details.

Parents live in different tax districts, North City and Fingal, so does the father send both forms to his local tax office of just the SPCC2 form and then send the SPCC1 form to the mothers local tax office?

Thanks.

Primary Claimant – to relinquish a claim in favour of another claimant complete SPCC1, including the relinquishment section, sign the declaration and submit to your Revenue Office.

Secondary Claimant – to claim for Single Person Child Carer Credit complete SPCC2, sign the declaration and submit to your Revenue office. The Primary Claimant must have relinquished their entitlement to the credit in order for the Secondary Claimant to make a claim.

To me this looks like, the mother submits the SPCC1 form to her office, and the father submits his SPCC2 form to his office.

Maybe no harm to include a copy of the SPCC1 form with the
SPCC2 application.

Think that answers my question, so thought i'd post to help any searchers.
