Went through a bit of a spanish music phase myself some time ago ( okay, okay, had a spanish boyfriend at the time) and loved Mecano- they are probably widely available in record shops but amazon is always brilliant for sourcing 'foreign' music. Try listening on itunes or youtube to 'icho de la luna' or some other famous mecano song to see if you like them.
Others may suggest more contemporary bands that you could similarly check out before buying.
