spam increase on eircom.net

Hi All,

is it my imagination or has there been a rather large jump in the levels of spam on the above service. Thankfully eircom and my own software are catching nearly all but when did anyone else notice this happen or is it just a spike in activity ?

Yes, there seems to be a spike of "Gibraltar Company" spam recently.
It tends to come and go in cycles.

Probably another botnet up and running somewhere.
