Have often wondered about this - what is the point/reasoning behind this?

E.g. extract from one such email just received:

jujube equate beck ride.
ride funny donga pep!
towel meant sal low!
beck center verger.
waking song.
pep noodle.
nugget sal castle.
rushy glossy grubby regie.
daphne satire twig.
castle nugget

Is it simply to confuse email scanners looking for 'spammable' words/phrases?

are you getting the emails for the good china firms? electronic goods, mp3 players, motorbikes, all you need at very good price? i seem to get 5 or 6 of these a day - cant block them. any suggestions?

Ha ha looks like the odd one out competition on today fm!!

Thanks Doc.
Some of these can be quite funny in a Monty Python kind of way.
