source for exterior glazed tiles for a porch

hi

we are thinking of glazing our porch as a number of houses in our area, of the same period approx 1920, have tiles. we were thinking of rectangular glazed tiles similar to adjacent houses but have not been able to source any so far. there are glazed period tiles for interiors, fired earth etc, but none of the suppliers will recommend them for exterior use due to the risk of them being shattered by frost.

can anyone give us a lead for suppliers.

These tiles are called "Encaustic Tiles". They have been in use for over a century, and are well worth the price. Almost indestructible.
