Sony 380W sound system

Cannot get sound from rte radio 1. All other stations - perfect sound.Any suggestions please !

Can you get it on any other radio in the house? What transmitter are you on in case that matters?

Could you ever tune in RTE1 on the Sony? If not then perhaps the unit is just faulty - e.g. truncated tuning range or something?

Can you tune in any stations at a lower frequency (I think there may be one - in Dublin at least - possibly a pirate?)? If you can but not RTE1 at a higher frequency then that sounds very odd...
