This is a long shot. My wife was listening to the Ronan Collins Radio Show today when a song was played from the 1960's that had the name of a woman mentioned in it. Apparently I used to sing it quite a bit. Unfortunately she cannot remember the song and it is driving us both mad trying to remember the name of it. Can anyone help?

Thanks everyone. We found out the answer ourselves by playing back the show from RTE.ie radio's website.

Sorry liteweight I couldn't resist! It was The Ballad of Lucy Jordan by Dr. Hook. also released by Marianne Faithful. I probably prefer the Marianne Faithful version.

Ah Jeez, I vaguely remember it so now it's going to drive me nuts trying to think of the tune!

Thanks Bskinti, of course I know it! Having just listened to it, can't decide whether to top myself or run away now.

Love that tune (the Marianne version). Wasn't it used in Thelma and Louise?
