There's a nice restaurant in Trim called Franzini's........I had a meal there about a year ago and was very impressed. Not sure of opening hours though.

Thanks for that, off to do a hot air balloon ride there on Saturday evening, so want to get the grub in before we go up (hopefully it'll be a smooth ride........... )

Check out the lunch at Knightsbrook Golf Club. Its a brand new development just outside trim (dublin side) and the restaurant there is excellent. they have an excellent patio outside overlooking the 18th if thats your thing.
