Hi, first time here, excuse me if im in the wrong forum.
I was just wondering, i went self employed as a sole trader in nov 2005 up untill then i was working paying my tax/prsi since june '94.
I've been fully tax compliant since 2005 and all my accounts are up to date.
I injured my back on tue and it looks like im going to be out of work for a while.
I haven't been able to get down to the social welfare office yet and was wondering am entitled to anything for the prsi i have paid over the years??
Any benefits at all??
Thanks in advance for reading..

You may be entitled to disability payment, it is a means tested payment, so if your wife or partner is working they will take her earnings into account when accessing your means.
