Solid oak from Des Kelly

Hi

I bought solid french oak floors (floating) from des kelly the other day and collecting it today.
the guy in the shop said that i only need to leave it in the house for one day before fitting.
in a bit of a rush to get it laid so if only a day it would be great.

anybody any thoughts on that?
just wanted to check before going ahead.
any help would be much appreciated.

Ask him if they'll replace all of it when it all buckles!

Solid floors need to be given the 4 weeks to be absolutely sure.

even if it is floating?

the floor is only 15mm.

I'm not a carpenter, just a diyer and I'd rather follow the general practise than risk having to replace the floor should something go wrong.
