Solictor fees for Mortgage payment draw downs

Can anyone advise if you must have a solicitor in order to certify mortgage down payments on a new build, or can an engineer do it solely?


If a solicitor is required can anyone advise roughly what the fees for this would be ? We are first timers on a new build so any advice would be grateful

Solicitor required. Bank won't release funds based on the signature of an engineer.

Re. fees ... ring a solicitor and ask them.

Last property I purchased cost me roughly €2,500 in fees.
