We are unhappy with our Solicitors in a case. They are unwilling to share expert reports with us. Is this common as it seems strange to us especially as we have already paid for the reports? They said it's their normal practice.

If I had paid for a report I would consider it mine and I'd most certainly want to see it.

I agree with Bronte. If you have paid for report, you should ask for a copy. I suppose if it is an actuarial report though, you should be aware that the figures are mathematical and based on assumptions. The figures in the report may not be achievable in a court case. Other than that though, medical reports and engineering reports should be made available to you.
