solicitor's fee's for administrating will very high

Could someone tell me if there is a body/board in Ireland that queries solicitors fees. Our solicitor gave us the bill for administrating my late fathers will/estate and it seems unbelievably high.

You can send the bill forward for taxation which means that a taxing master examines the charges and makes an Order as to the amount to be paid.
