I am taking out a mortgage to pay for an extension on my house. How long should it take for a solicitor to process this? There is no conveyancing involved since I own the house and he has the title deeds in his possession - so is this presumably something that can be accomplished v quickly? I am on a tight timeline. Any insights gratefully received.
