Last week I was contacted by letter by our solicitor re resigning of land registry documents for our private residence and a RI property. There had been a typing error with regard to dates. This is the first that I was aware of a problem though mortages are 5 years old at this stage.

The 2 properties are financed with tracker mortgages provided by the one company.

I know that this maybe nothing but when I resign the documents will this give the bank a reason to withdraw the tracker rates or will I continue to maintain the original agreed rates.

In short will my signature be reason for the banks to change the status of the loan rate from tracker to standard variable?

Thanks in advance for any opinions

Can you find out precisely what documents need to be re-executed and why?

Any response otherwise is pure speculation.
