I have not received invoice from my solicitor for conveyancy work he carried out for me. House sale went through in Oct. should I contact him? How can I check house is in my name?

Do you mean you sold a house? Or bought a house? Its a little unclear.
 
I bought the house but haven't paid Solicitor for convenancy yet as I have not received invoice from him requesting payment.
 
Is it possible that the solicitor may have deducted his costs from any monies due to you after the drawdown of your mortgage?

Saying nothing leaves you concerned that a huge bill may hit you at any time. I'd give them a ring. You will probably feel better.

Land registry?? I am not sure

Ask your mortgage lender to let you see the deeds and check. However in this could be like trying to decipher the Dead Sea Scrolls for many people. Alternatively ask your solicitor.

It's conveyancing by the way.
 
"Conveyancy" may be mistakenly used by many people but it doesn't make it a real word.
