I am setting up as a soletrader to do some contract work. I will have to travel to work every day for the new contract I will be taking on. I may be able to do some work from home on this contract.
I wont be earning a whole lot and I will be commuting 2hrs each way and may stay one or two nights.
My question is should I set up as a sole trader with my work address as my home address so I can claim travel expenses as petrol bills will be high?Can I do this or from a revenue point of view is my place of work actually 2hrs from my home?
