Hi All,
I wonder can i get a definitive answer on this query. I have contacted the Revenue themselves about this and I am getting conflicting information!
I set up a business (sole trader) in 2007. I did not trade at all in 2008.
The Revenue have told me that I need not file a return until next year (2009) which i believe is correct. However, one person told me that I do not need to pay the Tax due on foot of that return until next year either. Another person in the Revenue suggested that i might have to pay the 2007 preliminary tax by tomorrow.
Does anyone have a definite answer for me? Any assistance would be hugely appreciated.
