Solar water and hot fill washing machine

Hi,
We have solar panels heating water and are looking for a new washing machine. It should make sense to buy a model which takes hot water but I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this, recommendations for models, etc.

Bought a machine not so long ago "Whirlpool 6th Sense...Most if not all new washing machines have only one water connection point now which is for a cold water... From what I can remeber, I was told at the time it is more efficient for the machine to take the water in cold and just heat the water than to have hot water being fed in directly... not sure whether this was a spoof or not but, the machine I bought was an "A" rated machine so, it must be more efficient that way even if it does sound a little crazy!

Hi Chuckes and Lorna. Yep just found that site too. Looks like hot fill machines can not really take advantage of the hot water. Issues with cool water in hot pipe, need to protect against high temps, etc.
Also sections 6,7,8 of this document are interesting.
