Hiya,

First time posting so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area. I was wondering how i would go about stopping a sw appeal? and is it ok for me to apply for a different payment immediately? my circumstances have changed recently and i would like to get it sorted asap.

Thanks

Can't see anything here about cancelling an appeal but I presume that you just contact them and explain that you want to terminate your appeal and the reasons why?

If you think you qualify for a(nother?) payment based on your change in circumstances then presumably yes.

If your grounds of appeal are good, then don't withdraw your appeal. There is nothing to stop you submitting a new application and proceeding with your appeal (unless of course you are intending on relying on information that contradicts your previous appeal).

I would seek advice from Citizens Information www.citizensinformation.ie or INOU 01 8560088 before doing anything.
