social say they owe me money

hi all

I got a letter from social welfare two weeks ago looking for my bank details. I assumed that was to put my money into bank I stead of post office.

so I filled it out n gave it into social but I was curious to know when they changeover would happen so I called in to them. They informed me I was owed money and they would be putting it into my bank. They wouldn't tell me why it was owed to me or how much it was.

so I left it be but when your told somethin like that it would bug u so I went in again two days ago to see could they even give me an idea when this money would be in the bank and they said it could be months.

now I'm confused , I mean they tell me I'm owed money but wont tell me why how much or when ill get it. Has anyone else been in this situation that can shed some light

Where did the form come from (what SW address was on the form). Where did you bring the form? Are you on a Social Welfare payment at the moment? Have you applied for any Social Welfare schemes recently?

I have only been on jsa a month I was doing a solas course the last year when I finished at the end of October.

the form came from my local office has the name of a woman I had to give it to which is who I gave it to she was the woman who told me I was owed money. Its all very confusing

Maybe they need time to work out how much you are owed?
