Disability Allowance

Disability Allowance is paid to people with a disability. You can get it from 16. The maximum weekly rate is €208. From January 2023 it will increase to €220. You can work and receive a reduced rate.

Not the Carer's Support Grant:

Carer's Support Grant

The Carer’s Support Grant is paid yearly to carers who get Carer's Allowance, Carer's Benefit or Domiciliary Care Allowance. The Carer’s Support Grant is €1,850. It is paid the first Thursday in June.

But both are exempt from income tax, PRSI and USC.
 
Thanks, and am I right in saying that the double invalidity pension payment in October and in December are taxable
 
Invalidity Pension is taxable normally so I can't see why the "bonus" payments would be different?

Invalidity Pension

Invalidity Pension is paid to people covered by social insurance who cannot work because of a long-term illness or disability. From January 2023 the maximum weekly rate increases by €12 to €225.50.
