Thanks for that.
None the wiser for all of it.
I occassionally play the lotto - €3 bet.
I have checked the results online on a few occasions.
I cannot for the life of me recall signing up to anything for it.
I reckon once you played your first game you automatically subscribed to the service. To opt-out text STOPALLto 57052. Or of course you can continue to play if you wish.
I didnt realise they were still going. I remember when it first came out, there were TV adverts every second and nothing these days.
Well, that's even more confusing because I don't play it online.
I just went to the website to check the results.
I buy the cards in the local shops.
I like the advice to STOPALLto 57052 - just did it
I am also reporting a message received this evening from +353879015000.
This was advertising the US Masters at the Dungeon Bar.
I seldom watch the golf and I never do it in a pub.
They got a STOP this evening as well.
AND a referral to the regulator.
These things cost me money!
you should report the text message regarding the US masters to the Data Protection Commissioner. He takes a very dim view of unsolicted messaging. There's a link to his Annual Report for 2009, (I would post the link if I knew how! ) on another thread on AAM.
