With effect from 1st May 2009 UB master card made the following changes in relation to foreign currency transactions.
The amount of any Purchase or Advance in a curreny other than euro (sic lower case "e") outside the euro zone will be converted into euro at a rate of exchange chosen by the bank on the date the amount is debited to the account.
In addition the rate of exchange shown on Your (sic capital "Y") statement will include an administration levy of 2%.
My question:
Are there any credit card companies who do not charge this "administration" levy? So I can move to them.
