Snagging - get a professional or DIY

Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone out could recommend someone for snagging a 2-bed apartment on the Northside or better yet if anyone has done it themselves how did they go about it?

A family member with degree in construction management did brilliant job for me. Do you know someone with relevant degree that you could trust?

A conscientious architect friend has done snagging in the past.

Not devaluing the process, but there are probably quite a few suitably experienced people who could do this for you.

My very recent experience says get a professional. There's now way I would have spotted even half of the "snags" he found, nor would I have known just what was acceptable on a snag list, e.g. millimetre sized paint splashes, 5mm gaps in joinery etc.

We used homesnag.ie and were really pleased with the service.
