Snagging a new apartment

I'm going to Aheloy, Bulgaria to snag a new apartment in August. Any advice as to what i should be looking out for? It is a new build.
 
Google 'snagging list' there is a wealth of info on the net.

Essentially anything you are not happy with you should put in writing to the developer and don't take any builders bull for things which arent right.
 
Look closely at the paint job, if the paint has been watered it will look shoddy in no time.
 
Is that the Vineyards resort Claragh..? Was out there meself snaggin and found a few problems but nothing major.
 
Thanks folks. The apartment is in The Aheloy Beach resort. I have a friend who bought in the Vineyards and is very happy with the standard of finish. Would it advisable to use a Bulgarian company to snag the apt. From searching the net it would cost about €150
 
You would be better to do the snagging list yourself, then you know you are happy with the apartment and everything is as it should be. Make a holiday out of your trip.
