Recently complted a house extension and want to complete a snag list for the builder. Need to get a pro to spot the things that wouldn't be obvious to the layman.

we knew our architect but this was a good decision to pay as we knew the builder as well.

Hi Magoo, I used Pat McGovern & Associates ([broken link removed]) to do my apartment snag list. They are very thorough, but they charge extra for a second call out.
Probably not the right place to bring it up, but does the "snagger" need to be licensed, qualified, in any way - as say for example a surveyor generally being member of trade body.... Or can anyone with enough background in the industry do this?
i woulnt get a plumber to snag my house?!!! [sorry bad sense of humour] But I have only ever known civil/ structural/ quantity/ etc surveyors to do this.
