Couldn't say it better myself. The builder is not going to risk a guaranteed sale by not making a few changes. If items are substanially damaged or not fit for purpose then they need to be repaired/replace. Doesn't matter how many iterations it takes, stick to your guns!The way im thinking about it is I wouldnt accept that as new if i bought it from a store so surely the same principle applies?

Cosmetic defects are different from material defects. Obviously if someone is arguing over a mark on a painted wall the builder is definitely going to tell them to hump off. But broken doors and windows are not cosmetic.
Absolutely. If they've all lifted you'll find they'll start to crack within a very short time.that'd be normal to expect that wouldnt it??
