Smudge type marks on Blue Almeira

Since i bought a new blue coloured Almeira there has been fingers type marks all over the bodywork. at first i thought it was a simple matter of cleaning them off but had no success. Frankly i gave up as other people more or less told me i had to live with these marks. Is there anythhing in can do?

I too have smudges all over the roof edges of a silver car. Have been told by a garage (sales)man that it is caused by me fitting roof racks with suncream on my hands etc and the only cure is T-cut. If your car is new, I would go back to the garage and demand they clean the marks off. I understand they use a ittle bit of petrol to clean the wax off newly arrived cars.

Can't have been "new". They stopped making the Almera over 4 years ago.

I would agree with the suncream thing though - and the remedy.
