smell of white spirits

Odd one this! Rrecently there is a smell of white spirits emanating from a double radiator in my kitchen. No WS have been spilled in the area so I can't understand where it can be coming from!! Anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be or how to remove odour?? Also are vapours toxic....have 3 month old in house and would have concerns re health etc...

Was area around or wall behind rad painted during the Summer?

The wall was painted last year and there was no smell then

Might be coming from anti corosive liquid in your system especially if you have bled the rad recently

Seeing that you have a 3mth old baby could it be Gripe Water?

you could give your doctor a ring re fumes if you are worried. i was told once by doctor no painting in house with newborn especially in winter as you cant air the room.
