I bought a 64Mb Smartmedia card a couple of years ago. 2 weeks ago it stopped working - camera (OLYMPUS C-3030) won't operate at all when card is loaded. Not an OLYMPUS card.
I tried re-formatting it using the DOS prompt in Windows -no joy "Invalid media or Track 0 bad - disk unusable".
Anyone here know of any way of recovering a Smartmedia card ?
I have done Google-ed and found many references to a utility called smprep.exe but, so far, haven't located anywhere to download it.
