Small self-administered pension plan - regulations

I am trying to get hold of a comprehensive detailing of the regulations surrounding SSAP's, but cannot seem to locate this anywhere. Would anybody have any ideas on where one could find this info?

You probably need to consult the relevant TCAs (Tax Consolidation Acts) and/or Finance Acts for the letter of the law. It's possible that these are supplemented by Revenue policies (e.g. Tax Briefings etc.). If you are not a tax practitioner (in which case you would presumably not be asking here for this info?) then you might want to consult with one?

I cannot see why a practitioner would not use this site as a way of sharing his/her experiences (their own or those of their clients) and learning from experiences of others...nobody is too experienced/qualified to learn from others.

Oh max - get your hands on a copy of the Revenue Pensions Manual there is a good chapter in it about small self-admin schemes.

I just assumed that a tax practitioner would already know where to get this info - that's all.

Tax is a pretty massive subject matter...I am sure not all tax practitioners would be au fait with pension scheme legislation.
