Small personal pension with low fees

My wife has a small pension of approximately 12,000 accumulated from a previous job. She is now a stay at home mother. The fees on the pension amount to 2%.

The pension amount is too small to justify obtaining independent financial advice.

Is there any alternative pension scheme that she could move the pension to with lower fees?

Is the Pension currently in a PRSA or in an Occupational Pension Scheme?

If it is in a PRSA you can easily move it to another one - has some with 1% AMC.
If it is hold in an occupational scheme you would need to obtain some kind of certificate if you wan tto move it to a PRSA - which is costly. In this case you should look for a cheap PRB.

2%?!! She can easily halve that by transferring to a Buy Out Bond/ PRB.
