Hi there - wondering if anyone out there has some ideas they can share with me.
I am currently a single mother of little income living in a rented property.
I have recently come into some money and was researching some ideas in ways I could invest this money to give myself and my children a more stable future.
I will be looking to invest aprox. £15,000. Now, I am open to any suggestions (starting a new business, returning to university, property (probably abroad for that amount), ISAs, bonds,etc etc) and I am looking for something fairly low risk. I know this amount is not really a life-changing amount, but its probably more than I will be able to save for a long time and I don't want to waste it. Also, I would love to get on the property ladder, but i only work part time at the moment and with property prices as they are in the uk I know its not an option yet. Although, I would invest abroad if the returns were good.
I am not in any hurry to see a return either, as long as I will get a decent return for my childrens futures.
Any ideas guys and gals???? I would REALLY appreciate your help.
