For many years this small crack has existed. I am wondering whether with suitable precautions i should paint it with appropiate material bearing in mind not to disturb it. Query prompted by article i read recently re dangers. As a matter of interest if a person is buying a house pre the ban on asbestos would a survey highlight the existance of such material as i gather it was commonplace in areas like behind fuse boxes.
