Small Company needs a cheque clearance company.

Hi,
I am the owner of a small company, and I receive a lot of cheques as payments for my goods and services, 95% of those cheques clear when i lodge, but there are always the few who bounce. Can any body advise the name/s of cheque clearance companies in Ireland ?. To give an example you buy goods in say Harvey Norman, they can clear your cheque there and then, thats the type of service i require.

Its called transax - excellent. But follow their rules or your cheques will not be covered if they bounce.

Yes, I also used transax years and years ago and they were spot on at the time.

It must be a fairly expensive service? If you have a lot of small cheques, then I suspect it will be cheaper to take the occasional hit.
