Small claims court. Query please

Hi everyone,

maybe I'll have to discuss my refund request with a company based in Galway by opening a Small Claims Court procedure. But I live in Dublin...

So do you know which Small Claims Court will be responsible for this? Dublin or Galway? If in Galway am I able to ask for the costs of my trip as well with the court if I send adequate warning to the company?

Debts are not covered under the small claims (unless you mean it is a good/service etc that didnt live up to expectations), you need to apply to the nearest Court in Galway and you do not necessarily need to appear your self unless requested to, the Small claims procedure should be a last resort after allowing the company ample time etc to fix the issue.
