Slow Internet today

Just wondering if anyone is experiencing slow broadband today. I'm in the Cork area and for the past 2 days the internet has been much much slower than usual.
Have my laptop fully updated, all security as normal (firewall, antivirus etc).
It just takes approx 15 to 20 seconds to open pages, videos take up to 40 seconds, some pages don't even load!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very annoying. Any suggestions welcome and would like to know if its just me haveing this issue.

Try another browser, computer, broadband connection as part of a process of elimination aimed at identifying the root cause.

I'm using Firefox now at the moment. Took ages to download last night (about 10 mins) and I've switched sockets etc at the modem. Will have loan of another laptop later tonight so hopefully something might show up then.
Just hope something isn't lurking around in my hard drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You didn't by any chance install Rapport recently did you?

Have you checked with your broadband provider if there is any problem?

Do a full scan to see if anything shows up.

If you suspect some sort of infection then maybe scan it:

Finally problem has been resolved. Phoned broadband provider, they did a check and found the line speed was very poor.
After a quick update to the modem and some other issues with the line, they asked me to a speed test (speedtest.net) all is working perfect again.
No issues with the laptop. Happy days.
