Need a laugh after some stress of late and was thinking of staying in Sligo City Hotel. Mixed reviews on Trip Advisor but looks ok and seems to be central to town and night life.
Any help appreciated.
 
Its definitely the hotel with the best location in Sligo. Its right in the centre of things and across the street from the new Quay Street Shopping Complex. The hotel itself is fine. Not 5 star or anything, but I would have no problem staying there. I'm from Sligo and have had friends and relatives staying there with no complaints. Again, can't be beaten on location, which is important as Taxi's can be like hens teeth on a saturday night in Sligo.
 
The Radisson isn't bad, hot tub and Sauna, Jacuzzi etc. A bit far out of town maybe for the night life, pretty taxi dependant.
 
Thanks for the help. We had a great night. City Hotel was perfect, might try Radisson next time do like a Jacuzzi..
