Slideshow software, with pan-and-scan

Hi folks

Have you got any suggestions for free software that will allow me to produce a slideshow from jpg photos and including a pan-and-scan facility, to allow me to draw focus onto particular areas of the photo. The ability to control the speed and duration of the 'pan' movement, and to allow pausing before/after the movement would be great.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried Photo Story and MS Movie Maker. Both have a limited pan-and-zoom facility, but give you little control over the speed/direction/duration of the movement.

I got a tip at http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055508791 for Corel Video Story and this seems to do the biz and give full control over the zoom movement. Now the challenge is to get the slidesorted within the 30-day free trial for Corel.
