my mum and dad are thinking of buying a house here. Its a three bed semi detached. The house is an okay size. They would be looking to rent it out for the being anyway. They live in kildare and want to buy somewhere easy to get to etc.

I am just wondering would there be much market here for people renting?
Does anyone else live in the estate is it quiet? and lastly is it a good price at €209

There are 8 houses in that estate for rent on Daft and over 25 in the locality.
Many for several weeks.
By 'ok' size do you mean its tiny? Would you live in it when you could rent bigger and better within five minutes drive?

I owned and lived in a 3 bed semi in the first phase of this development. The rental income was around the €550pm mark according to a neighbour who was renting.

Whilst the house was generally well built, I did experience difficulties selling it (took 9 months to sell), and personally I found the building company Midwae a nightmare to deal with when any issues needed attending to.

Nice houses, friendly neighbourhood, reasonably good value for money.
